Julia Sutton

Julia Sutton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with meaningful experience partnering with clients across the lifespan, including preschool, school aged children, tweens, teens, and adults. Some of her clinical areas of interest include trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Julia’s therapy style is warm and compassionate. She utilizes several approaches in order to provide the optimum treatment for each individual. Her areas of specialty include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, play based therapy, mindfulness, neuroscience, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Julia is focused on the systems and environment that impact each person. With an emphasis on relationship and value of the whole person, Julia works to promote self-confidence, connections, and belonging.

Julia received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of San Diego with a Minor in Theology and Religious Studies. She received a Master of Social Work Degree from San Diego State University. Julia’s goal is to empower clients and looks forward to working alongside you!
