Dr. Pruginin is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience. He has worked with outpatient, residential, and school settings. He works with school aged children, adolescents, adults and families. Dr. Pruginin is trained in neuropsychology and specializes in the diagnosis of conditions that affect learning, such as attention problems and learning disabilities. He is also trained in the assessment and diagnosis of trauma, depression, and mood and anxiety disorders.

Dr. Pruginin utilizes evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, parent coaching, motivational interviewing, and acceptance and mindfulness-based therapies to effectively improve his clients’ well-being and mental health.

Dr. Pruginin has experience teaching and managing CAPIC and APPIC accredited internship programs, including supervising interns, and overseeing clinical supervisors. He also has extensive experience teaching graduate courses in Cognitive Assessment, Personality Assessment, Neuropsychology Assessment, Psychology in Primary Care, Child and Adolescent Counseling, Multicultural Psychology, Psychopharmacology, Group Therapy, Psychopathology, and Ethics. He currently as adjunct faculty at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
