Jamie Nicolich

Jamie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing comprehensive support to individuals, families, and couples. She enjoys engaging with a diverse clientele, including young children, adolescents, and adults from varied cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities. Her clinical focus includes life and family transitions, relational dynamics, parenting strategies, ADHD management, behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, and OCD. She utilizes a cognitive-behavioral theoretical orientation while including elements of family systems, solution-focused, narrative therapy, and play therapy when appropriate. She believes the counseling process is a collaborative effort and places emphasis on building a strong client-therapist relationship in order to achieve treatment goals within an environment of nonjudgmental trust and compassion.

Jamie earned her BA in Psychology and MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from The College of New Jersey. She holds a certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Gottman Method Level One. She also enjoys providing Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings within the community.
