Dr. Joseph Pando is a licensed clinical psychologist with over ten years of clinical experience treating a variety of psychological difficulties in numerous settings. These include juvenile hall, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, crisis houses, and several outpatient mental health programs in San Diego County. He is also an adjunct professor in the Alcohol and Other Drug Studies Program at San Diego City College.

Dr. Pando has experience providing psychological, neuropsychological, and competency evaluations at various agencies in San Diego. These include The Parkinson’s Association of San Diego, San Diego Immigration Court, and Behavioral Health Court of San Diego. Dr. Pando received his Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego and subsequently attended the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University where he received his Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

Additionally, Dr. Pando serves as a volunteer/mental health consultant to organizations such as Tender Loving Canines and the Guide Dogs of America. Dr. Pando currently provides mental health and substance services to families, active duty military/veterans, couples, adolescents, and children.
