Julia Sutton

Julia Sutton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with meaningful experience partnering with adults, children, and families through life’s transitions and challenges. Some of her clinical areas of interest include depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Julia’s therapy style is warm, empathetic, and empowering. She utilizes several approaches in order to provide the optimum treatment for each individual. Her areas of specialty include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, play based therapy, mindfulness, and brain development. Julia is focused on the systems and environment that impact each person. With an emphasis on relationship and value of the whole person, Julia works to promote self compassion, connections, and belonging.

Julia received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of San Diego with a Minor in Theology and Religious Studies. She received a Master of Social Work Degree from San Diego State University. Julia looks forward to working alongside you!
